POTION DE MUERTO COCKTAIL RECIPE

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Hornitos Black Barrel tequila
  • 1/2 oz beet juice
  • 3/4 oz fresh orange juice
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz agave syrup
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
Directions:
  1. Combine all the ingredients except beet juice in a shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously. 
  2. Strain into a highball glass over crushed ice. 
  3. Slowly float the beet juice over the ice, allowing the beet juice to make its way down the glass and appear as if blood is dripping through the drink. 
  4. Garnish with an orange slice.
