Catherine and Sean's Wedding on May 6, 2010!

Catherine's mother, Donna, called me a couple of weeks ago. She explained that her daughter was getting married on short notice because the groom, Sean, was being deployed to Germany shortly and she had to put together their wedding quickly. She had been given my name by a lifelong friend of hers that I know through the church we attend, Unity Church of the Triangle. Donna did a fabulous job of arranging for her only daughter to have a wonderful wedding at Sisters' Garden with about 35 guests in attendance. I met them all for the first time on the wedding day, Thursday, May 6, 2010.
Before the wedding, our beautiful bride, Catherine, is visiting with her girlfriends and her soon to be stepson, Jaden, age 3.

Tracey Franks, our photographer, is getting some good shots of the bride with Jaden.
When the guests had arrived, we began the ceremony and father of the bride, Tom, proudly escorted Catherine down the aisle.
The chairs were set up on the dance floor and the couple and I stood in front of a beautiful mirrored backdrop.
 Here's another angle.
Catherine is placing the ring on Sean's finger as she says her vows to him.
Then the "kiss moment" where they share their first kiss as husband and wife. Look closely and you can see the reflection of the guests in the mirror behind us.
I met them outside in the garden to congratulate them, give them a hug, and get a photo with the newlyweds.
They are so happy to be married to each other. They are off to Germany together next week. Catherine and Sean, best wishes to you always!

Thanks to Marc at Sisters' Garden, once again who helped this couple have a simple but elegant wedding day!
